i really hate it when this happens, especially if i’m in a hurry.

their performance was like ‘step up 2: the streets meets stomp the yard‘. wicked tune by timbaland matched with great choreography by the all stars. you’ll love the part when the crew leader raised another member and held him above his head on a single arm. but i personally like the 1:28 - 1:34 part.

experimented with the twilight and fireworks mode of the sony cybershot dsc-t2 digicam. the exposure is pre-set to two (2) seconds and the only the aperture is changed between the two modes.

which one do you like?

it’s the fitness first tag line, and yes - i joined their club last month. when my office mate informed me that he was scheduled for a consultation, i decided to tag along since the gym is only a few floors away from where i work. there it was, after a long discussion with the consultant, we were both encouraged to register. it’s a bit costly but what i had in mind is that if i don’t pay for it, i won’t be urged to do it.

what really motivated me? i’m underweight for my age and height and i’ve always wanted to gain weight. since college, i’ve always wanted to go to a gym and do weight training but i was kind of hesitant because i had no company and no one to assist me.

after my first day, my arms were sore that it was difficult to remove my shirt. it was even difficult to reach for my neck. but the more i forced it, the more it felt good. as the saying goes, no pain no gain. i’d be careful though, i don’t want to have the same fate as this guy. eeek!

three times a week. that’s how often i go to the gym. since i started last month, there already have been minor improvements, like gaining 4 pounds or so. my eating habit also changed. i have to take in more food to keep up with the calories i burn during training (that’s what the nutritionist said). more food means more expenses so i also have to adjust my budget for my daily meals or i’ll always end up broke. lol.

well, it’s gonna be a new found habit for another 11 months. wish me excellent results! hahaha

i started using wordpress since 2005, and became a fan of it since. each year, wordpress is getting better and better. more and more features are added every major update. it’s very easy to use and as for beginners, as i was years ago, it’s very easy to learn. it’s not just for bloggers, but for content-driven websites as well.

hope to see other fellow wordpress users come September 6th. you can register at the WordCamp Philippines 2008 website. it’ll be the first in southeast asia, so i’m sure it’ll be a great experience.

but at least, my life’s not left to rot. although there have been several ups and downs, i’m still living it. sigh. but am i living it as it should be?

went to baguio last july 4 - it was independence day in the americas and thus a holiday for us working the night shift, so me and some of my office mates grabbed the opportunity and decided to spend the weekend in baguio.

out of 7, it was a first for the 6 of us, including me, to be in baguio. so it was quite an adventure, walking along session road, not knowing where’s the next stop would be. our itinerary included burnham park, session road, sm baguio, lourdes grotto, mines view and good sheperd.

a weekend is not enough if you’d like to see more of baguio. our tour proper was only for a day, and it was exhausting. we had leg cramps, especially at lourdes grotto, climbing up 214 steps (yes, we counted) gave us a cardio exercise.

the possibility of a second edition of this trip is high. “bitin” as they say. :)

i had another blog setup for my ’supposed’ to be ‘more’ personal entries, but then again, it was a failure. i failed on updating it. two ‘wordless’ entries here were from that blog. i imported it here hoping for a re-run. starting over where i left it, i guess.

you might be wondering, why write now? well, to tell you the truth, i don’t know either. how weird is that?

i just had my lunch break a while ago and pooooooofff! ideas down the drain… … … … now, i’m just staring at this kick-ass monitor with nothing sensible to type. i’m tempted to click on ‘publish’, just to the right of where i am typing right now. or perhaps ‘delete post’? naahhh..

i was reviewing my post using the preview function and that is what i got. whaaaat? my last save was at 1:42am, but 38 years ago? how the hell did that happen? i wasn’t even born at that time yet! geeez.. bugs.. bugs.. bugs.. have anyone experienced this too? by the way, i’m running on WP 2.5.1.

anyway, enough of the non-sense. i can’t promise when the next update would be so i, myself, won’t be expecting it too. surprise! surprise! i’m out!
